Symptoms, conditions and causes

What are the causes for Hepatitis C?

Hepatitis C is a virus that invades your liver cells and causes a lot of inflammation. It is transmitted through the blood (for example from dirty needles). Having hepatitis C can create the risk of diabetes, cirrhosis (liver scar tissue) and even cancer.

  • Fatigue

  • Flu-like symptoms

  • Dark urine

  • Abdominal pain

  • Yellow skin/eyes.

Cause #1: Infection

As mentioned above, hepatitis C is a viral infection. The problem with this virus is that when it gets to your liver it will negatively affect the organ. The solution would be to improve your immune system to fight this virus off quickly.

Additionally, if you consume a lot of refined carbs and snack often these can cause excess insulin production in your body. This alone can worsen the condition of your liver, reducing its ability to regenerate and restore its condition. Doing the Healthy Keto® diet as well as intermittent fasting can reduce the inflammation and help your liver to heal after hepatitis C.

As a note, usually people with hepatitis C have difficulties getting rid of excess Iron (due to liver damage). Iron helps the hepatitis C virus reproduce and grow. Reducing iron in your body will help improve this condition.

Consume antioxidants to support your liver:

  • parsley

  • cruciferous vegetables

  • concentrated vegetables

  • milk thistle

  • ascorbic acid

  • L-glutamine

  • alpha-lipoic acid

  • alpha-tocopherol

  • vitamin B complex

  • NAC

  • selenium

  • SAMe

Support your immune system:

  • do intermittent fasting

  • do the Healthy Keto® diet

  • consume oregano oil

  • consume garlic

  • consume vitamin D

  • avoid stress

Starve the virus for iron by consuming lactoferrin (at least 3.6 g) Avoid things that damage the liver:

  • alcohol

  • vegetable oils

  • omega-6 fatty acids

  • chemicals

  • medications: reduce your medication amounts (check with your doctor first)
