What makes a product Kosher?

A Kosher product is prepared in accordance with traditional Jewish laws. Additionally, Kosher products cannot contain animal ingredients from sea animals that do not have fins and scales, such as shrimp, lobster, crab, and oysters. Meat from from pigs, rabbits, squirrels, camels, kangaroos, and horses are not allowed.
