The electrolyte powder is meant as an enhancement, not a replacement of vegetables and other foods. So could you take 5000? Yes. Would you have a problem? I don't think so. The potassium is highly controlled by your kidneys. So if you take too much your body gets rid of it. Unless you have an advanced stage five kidney disease which in fact even those people there's some there's conflicting information that they might be fine by taking high levels of not high levels but just potassium in general.
