Can you consume too many omega-3 fatty acids?

Yes, you can, but it's very rare, and you probably don't have to worry about that. You need both omega-6 and omega-3. They're called essential fatty acids, but we get way too much omega-6. I'm talking like an average of like 30 percent of our calories way too far. On one side, the omega-3 are anti-inflammatory.Omega-6 are more inflammatory, but we do need sometimes inflammation to heal damage, right? If you deprive yourself of either one, you're going to have problems, but that's not the problem. The problem is the heavy omega-6, and especially in the form that you're getting it, highly refined, synthetic, ultra-processed oils that are just, doesn't even resemble the actual oil, and in large quantities. It creates a lot of problems for a lot of people including it can trigger autoimmune diseases big time.
