Omega 3 Cod Liver Fish Oil

Dr. Berg has a video stating that krill oil is the best source of omega-3 fatty acids.  Why did he use cod liver oil?

Yes, Dr. Berg has a video titled “The Best Natural Sources of Omega-3 Fatty Acids” from 2018, where he mentions krill oil as an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids. While krill oil can be beneficial if sourced and handled correctly, it can be expensive and especially prone to rancidity if not processed with great care. In his more recent content, Dr. Berg notes that wild-caught cod liver oil can offer higher amounts of EPA and DHA than krill oil. Dr. Berg’s Wild Caught Omega-3 Cod Liver Oil is crafted to minimize rancidity, offering a clean, stable, and potent source of omega-3s that reflects his standards of quality.

In summary, both krill and cod liver oil are excellent sources of omega-3s. Dr. Berg chose cod liver oil for its higher EPA and DHA content, cleaner production, and greater affordability.
