How do I add fat during the keto diet?

Consume fattier protein sources and avoid low-fat or low fat percentage foods. Also, use the following oils by cooking with them, adding them to your meals and salads:

Good fats:

  • Cod liver oil

  • Avocado oil

  • Lard (wild boar)

  • Tallow (grass-fed bison, beef, or lamb)

  • Camel fat

  • Butter (grass-fed, organic and raw if possible)

  • Ghee

  • Olive oil (extra virgin olive oil)

  • Coconut oil
