A few things that can damage the hippocampus:
• Age
• Decreased oxygen
• Stress
• High glucose
• Vitamin B1 deficiency

How to help fix short-term memory loss:
• Increase oxygen to the hippocampus (exercise or use hyperbaric oxygen therapy)
• Increase ketones
