Is tallow beneficial for my body?

In the past, tallow or beef fat was the most popular fat to cook with in some parts of the world. There are some weight-loss benefits that can be found in tallow.

Benefits:

  • Very high in CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) (increases fat-burning)

  • Very satisfying so it allows you to fast longer

  • Can help decrease cravings and hunger for carbs

  • Fat in general doesn’t trigger insulin like carbs or protein

  • You’ll have less gut inflammation

How to consume it

When consuming tallow or cooking with it, be sure it’s organic and grass-fed.

You can get it at any ordinary grocery store.
