Sea Kelp Enhanced Iodine - Why was the Red Algae Removed From This Product?

We recently identified elevated levels of heavy metals, specifically lead, in a batch of red algae intended for the Sea Kelp Enhanced Iodine. Out of an abundance of caution, we excluded this ingredient from the current batch. We are actively sourcing a new supplier that guarantees ingredients free from heavy metals for future production.
