Symptoms, conditions and causes

What are the causes for atrial fibrillation?

Lack of electrolytes

Atrial fibrillation can be caused by a lack of electrolytes. Electrolytes control the electrical signals in the heart. If you are deficient in electrolytes, this can cause an irregular heart beat.

  • Consume more vegetables (7 to 10 cups daily)

  • Take potassium:

    • lettuce

    • avocado

    • Swiss chard

    • spinach

    • carrots

  • Take magnesium

    • Angstrom magnesium supplements

    • avocado

    • nuts

    • seeds

    • leafy green vegetables

• Consume electrolyte powder

(Note: if you have atrial fibrillation you probably will have to restore an already severely reduced amount of electrolytes in your body. Following the above suggestions may take 1 to 3 months to fully resolve the condition.)

Cause #2: Bad absorption of minerals

If your stomach has too low an acid level or if you consume too much calcium, these conditions affect your ability to absorb electrolytes to regulate the heartbeat. If you already follow the above remedies, you can speed up the improvement of your body’s absorption of minerals and nutrients with the help of the following:

Consume the following before meals:

  • apple cider vinegar (1 to 2 teaspoons stirred into about a cup of water)

  • betaine hydrochloride

  • Avoid calcium

  • Take more vitamin D
