What are the causes for brittle nails?

Many people experience brittle or ridged nails as they age. The most common issue is that your body has a protein deficiency, but this usually is not solved by just taking protein. If you notice that your nails break easily or have defined ridges, try the following remedies.

Cause #1: Trace mineral deficiency
