What do I do with hyperactive behavior?

Hyperactive behavior can stem from nutritional deficiencies. If you consume certain nutrients that are required for the healthy functioning of the nervous system you can cease to have hyperactive behavior.


  • Aggressive behavior

  • Hyperactivity

  • Restlessness

  • Difficulty reading

Cause #1: Nutritional deficiency

Hyperactivity can be caused by deficiency of certain nutrients. These vitamins and minerals affect your stress levels, cognitive function and your nervous system. Taking them can prevent most of the above symptoms.

Additionally, consuming omega-3 fatty acids can greatly help reduce the symptoms of hyperactivity.


  • Consume vitamin B1:

    • nutritional yeast

    • benfotiamine (fat-soluble B1)

  • Consume DHA/EPA (omega-3 fatty acids)

  • Avoid foods with omega-6 fatty acids

  • Consume potassium

  • Consume magnesium

  • Consume vitamin D

  • Avoid sugar and carbohydrates

  • Avoid preservatives
