Symptoms, conditions and causes

What is fibrosis and what are the causes of it?

Fibrosis (scar tissue in organs) means pathological wound healing. As you know, our immune system is involved in wound healing. During fibrosis, when our immune system heals wounds, as a side effect it creates scar tissue to replace the original functioning tissue (that was wounded and needed healing).

Consume vitamin E

Vitamin E helps to slow down the progression of fibrosis by reducing scar tissue formation while your immune system is healing wounds. If you have an inflammatory condition or fibrosis, try using vitamin E. It may not help reverse already created scar tissue, but it can prevent further formation of it.

  • Tocotrienols (a type of vitamin E) (300 mg/day)

  • Consume vitamin D to reduce inflammation

  • Do an intermittent fasting plan

  • Do periodic prolonged fasting.
