What is MCT oil?

MCTs (medium-chain triglycerides) are types of fat that don’t need help from your gallbladder. They can be turned into ketones pretty fast. Medium-chain triglycerides can be extracted from coconut oil or palm oil. MCTs are really good for people starting out in ketosis.

MCT oil benefits:

  • Reduces appetite

  • Increases brain energy

  • Decreases cravings

  • Feeds brain/heart

  • Doesn’t get stored as fat

How to use MCT oil:

Most people take C8 and C10 together. Always start out with a small amount, like maybe 1/2 teaspoon. You can work your way up to a full teaspoon, and then after a few days to 1 tablespoon.
