Which drugs are known to cause weight gain, and what are their effects on metabolic function, hunger, and fat accumulation?

These medications all have a side effect of increasing insulin, resulting in insulin resistance and making you fat. But curiously, the deeper cause of these conditions is high insulin, so the cause ends up being a symptom of the treatment trying to get rid of them! I wonder what would happen if someone were to simply fix their high insulin; that is, lower it with natural methods like their diet.

I’m curious if that would get rid of the conditions, eliminating the need for these medications.
