One of the best exercises is you start doing walking backwards. It is tremendous to strengthen the lower back, even if you have a disc protrusion because there's no weight-bearing. And then, if you start to do the next exercise, which is pulling sleds, or a sled in your yard or at the gym. It's such a great workout for your back and knees and ankles. And then also keeping that curve in your lower back with the protrusion. Get some, a foam roller and you put it in your lower back when you sit to keep that curve in the right place, and that will greatly help sciatica and low back pain.
