Symptoms, conditions and causes
What are the non-stress causes of high cortisol levels, and how do factors such as medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle choices contribute to this imbalance?
It's basically insulin resistance because insulin is increased by a factor of 5-7x making the cells reject this excess. This forces cortisol to come in and bypass things "initially" and dismantle the cell structures, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and other body proteins. These proteins are converted to glucose. So insulin causes an increase in cortisol.
