Where can I find good cod liver oil?

I will tell you, I do have my own brand. It's in a capsule, but typically though, if you're getting cod liver oil, wild caught, you're not going to have a lot of heavy metals. They, in order for it to come in the US they have to do testing. You're not going to see a lot of heavy metals. Plus some of these like mercury, for example, is water soluble. It's going to be more on the fish meat, not the oil per se.

You typically going to get a clean product. If it smells a little bit fishy, that's not the rancidity. Usually it's just fish proteins that are in there. So I would recommend getting it in smaller bottles and that way you can use it up quick and it doesn't sit there a long time now. Of course, I have mine freeze dried in a capsule, which lasts longer and you don't get the burps.
